Fishing Clamp – Flat

Description

PURPOSE

To hold or clamp wireline / slickline at surface during fishing operations.

DESCRIPTION

Flat Fishing Clamps are made up of 5 components:

1. Top Plate
2. Bottom Plate
3. Insert
4. Allen Cap Screw
5. Flat Head Screw

OPERATION

Extract Allen Cap Screws from Top and Bottom plates so clamp be separated into two parts.

Ensure proper sized inserts are installed into clamp before installing around line.

Install around line, ensuring the slickline / wireline is aligned in the centre of the inserts. Install Allen Cap Screws into Top and Bottom plates and tighten this will hold the line stationary
