Junk Catcher – Internal Fishneck

Purpose

To reduce debris on top of sub surface tools.

Description

Junk Catchers are made up of 2 components:

1. Fishneck
2. End Cap

Operation

Tighten end cap onto fishneck and attach to GS running / pulling tool and hoistinside of lubricator. Lower into wellbore to top of sub surface tool, jar down toshear GS. Remove toolstring from wellbore.

Precautions

If a large amount of debris is expected, an extension barrel may be added toaccommodate added volume. Ensure that jarring down to release the junkcatcher will not damage equipment below.
